Not sure where I first read about this, but i thought it was worth repeating. Rick Froberg, the singer of Drive Like Jehu and Hot Snakes, started a new band called Obits. So far so good. They are releasing a full length record on March 24th but for now they have a 7″ out on Sub Pop.

GM & The $15 Billion Dollar Science Lesson
December 12th, 2008Poor old GM & Co. slowly learning what happens to all the dinosaurs: evolve or go extinct. All the while refusing to believe that their dino-mobiles are related to their troubles.

Clearly it’s the selfish union workers and their absurdly high wages. Perfectly reasonable. So, here’s to GM’s 15 billion dollar lesson in science. I really do hope for everyones sake, that they change their achy ways.
